Ed Dahlberg has been flying for more than 40 years. He landed his first job in the airline industry in the late 1980’s, serving as a pilot for a regional commuter airline after obtaining his commercial, instrument and multi engine certificates.

While pursuing his Business Degree from the University of South Florida. Ed found himself working for FedEx, where he routinely delivered items for Jettech, Inc. His love for planes, coupled with his keen interest in business, piqued his curiosity. Soon after, he jumped into aircraft sales at Jettech, where he learned the ins and outs of the aircraft brokerage business and led the company in sales and acquisitions.

With a firm foundation and extensive network of worldwide resources, he established Emerald Aviation in 1995, with a mission to deliver an unmatched level of expertise, complete transparency, and personalized service to his clients.

“I think what most of my customers appreciate is that I’m an owner and operator myself,” he says. “That, along with my experience as a pilot and my degree in Business and years of direct aircraft brokerage experience, gives them a level of trust and confidence that I understand the purchase/sales experience from all sides. I want to understand their very specific needs, and make the experience as seamless and smooth as I possibly can.”
